Oh listen sister, I love my mister man, And I can't tell you why. There ain't no reason, for me to love that man. It must be somethin' that the angles done planned.
Fish gotta swim, Birds gotta fly. I gotta love one man till I die. Can't help lovin' that man of mine.
Tell me he's lazy, Tell me he's slow. Tell me I'm crazy, Maybe I know. Can't help lovin' that man of mine.
When he goes away, That's a rainy day. But when he comes back That day is fine! The sun will shine.
He can come home, As late as can be. Home with out him, Ain't no home to me. Can't help lovin' that man of mine.
For random lyrics or movies please ask me.

I just watched "Evita" again and I am happy! *Sings* Oh my daughter, oh my son, understand what I have done. I love that part. The "Lament" is the best. But, of course, in the movie they screwed it up and didn't put the whole thing in there. I have parts of the broadway soundtrack and I love it! West Side Story is the best (aside from Wicked). I love it. Turf. That's what they say "turf." That's just so cool. I like "Hello Dolly" and "Funny Girl" just because- OMG! I forgot her name! I'm going to die! WHAT WAS HER NAME!?!?!?!??!??!?!??!?? OH GOD HELP ME! I have to go jump off a bridge now. Okay that plan might be much. I have to practice today and I really don't want to. Who cares about "Sonata in C major" I personally hate it. I always get stuck with the perky classical "I'm happy" songs. I want some Brahms. Well, I am going to go eat more chocolate mints. By the by- I still like Matt. I need a life.

Well, having been awake for.... three hours yestermorning I received a phone call. Thinking it was from Kaitlyn and not reading the caller ID thingy (which I normally do) I said, "Howdy!" Well, it was not Kaitlyn. In fact it was Mr. Schuapner. After a very long talk we agreed that I would go to the JSO that night and watch the Junior Strings and Youth Symphony and then some to a decision about wanting to go in or not. Well, once I got there I saw alot of people in Junior Strings from Parkside and last year in Junior Strings and Leticia. I was then escorted upstairs by Mr. Schuapner to talk to Chris Hill the conductor of the Youth Symphony. They both decided that I had to go home and get my instrument... which I did. When I came back I played with the Junior Strings for about... 5 minutes and then spent two hours with the Youth symphony (compared to Blue Lake that's not bad). I received the music and I guess all I have to do is pay and now I will be a part of BOTH the Junior Strings and Youth Symphony. Confusing.
We are playing:
Romeo and Juliet
Lord of The Ring (Two Towers)
The Miller Dance
The Barber of Seville
And I think there was one more but I forgot it!

Last night Emily and I emailed Mr. Jewett and.... he replied.... in his scary fashion....
Our email consisted of really nothing important except for the fact that Emily put in there "and Thea has decided that she is cute." He replied, "We're all cute, even I am."
Then he told us that indeed the Red Neon is still cruising around Jackson terrorizing people and going to random Book stores.
Well, I think that is indeed all I can come up with this beautiful morning America!
Oh, and Mr. Jewett really likes the "This Land" thingy!

I have just seen the most.... intreging.... scarey..... something Mr. Jewett might like.... funny.... politically incorrect cartoon ever invented. (Not to mention a rip off of that famous stupid song "This Land is Our Land") They changed the lyrics and it's just Bush and Kerry yelling at each other with the occasional Clinton and Arnold. Go to "atomfilms.com" then press "Watch the new hit sensation" and trust me it's great fun to watch at 6 morning!
Also there is a really weird contemporary artist who my mom and I found. Her name is Sandy Skoglund. She does alot of set symbolism stuff that most the time I dont get until after mom explains it to me.
I am first chair. (All the fun left yesterday)
I dream of the coolest houses! It was art deco! It was awesome! It was cool! This is annoying!
Well, I guess I better go check on my other journals.

Can't Help Lovin' That man Of Mine |
] |
Well, it's offcial, I am now obsessed with my new favorite person who isn't quite as cool as Liza Minelli. Her name: Lena Horn. She rocks!!! She has a gorgeos voice and she is so beautiful!! I think it is time for me to write the lyrics of my favorite song she sings, "Can't help Lovin' That man of Mine":
Oh, listen sister, I love my mister man,
And I can't tell you why,
I have no reason to love that man,
It must be somethin' that the angels done planned.
Fish gotta swim,
Birds gotta fly,
I gotta love one man till I die,

But when he comes back that day is fine!

Home without him ain't no home to me,

Ohhhhhhh, I am a happy person! Let's see what happens today: school. How very exciting. NOT! I am really "whoa" right now and Kaitlyn dont correct any more of my spelling stuff! Linda, in orchestra today, said that I should do Youth Symphony. She went on and on and eventually I had this weird should I thing going on to the piont were I couldnt make up my mind! Then on top off that, I said that I wasnt good enough and she said that I was and that they were in despreate need of cellos. Well, I said I would think about it. Then after school Kaitlyn and I saw her again. She said we both should do it. Kaitlyn reminded her that we needed to know the music and Linda said "No you dont! You wont be able to screw as bad as I did!" Well, I was convinced, even after Kaitlyn's advice, that I would do it! Until now... I went to the JSO website and found out that I would have to play 2 scales one with four flats the other with four sharps! Uh....no. I can do alot but I cant learn to play two scales perfectly in tune with that many accencdentals. Oh, well. Grandma Polly is paying for dance! What more could I ask for? Oh, um, actually... I get to go buy jazz shoes today! And if we cant find any today we'll order them off the internet and then we will just get them before next week! My great-grandma June sent me a picture of grandma Leanna so now I have a pisture of all four of my grandparents. Now I need to get some of my great grandparents! I even have some pictures of my parents when they were married! Mom has huge hair and dad... has hair! I will never get a wedding picture of them though. (they were married in a government office) Well, now I have to go shoe shopping!

| I hate Mr. Mathias!!! |
[08 Sep 2004|06:51am] |
Yesterday, in orchestra, our new orchestra teacher, Miss Lee, came in. Cool I am cool with that! But then Mr. Mathias decides that his new favorite instrument is the cello and he just has to sit next to me! He kept apologizing for making stupid mistakes when I knew he thought that it was my fault (mind you he is a bass player and I dont care how long he has been teaching!). So anywho- then he had the nerve to say to me, "Your wrist work has improved" WHAT!!!!!!!!!!! Has he just been in lala land!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have had the same goddamn bow hand for an entire year (my old bow was crap)! I just... he is...I cant... BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On a happier note, I ran into Kevin yesterday, or as Emily and Kaitlyn like to call him, "Shiny Guy." I walked into the band room so we could get Kaitlyn's violin and he shoved his trombone in my face and said "THEA!" It scared me half to death! On another happier note, I have this really really cute German kid in my Spanish I class! I dont know what his german name is but his Spanish name is "Herald". I get the feeling that is kind of stuck up! Well, I am going to go see if I can make a new journal!

| I am so depressed and yet happy (????) |
[07 Sep 2004|06:22am] |
Ok- I was supposed to go with Kaitlyn on Saturday and start dancce classes but the only problem is that with dad moving to Ohio he has no money and mom never has money any way so it looks like I am going to have to wait on the dance lessons! Good news! I am going to audition for the Shakespeare festival in Febuary so all's well! I still think it would be sawesome to do "Mame" on the stage but nobody agrees with me! Of course I would want to be Mame! I LOVE NILS! Ok I am better now! School is......... sureal but nice. (Yea I just stole that from "Notting Hill") Its got this weird "every man for himself" type thing but then it turns around and ends up being this weird syfi-twilight zone-scareyness-socail-thing. I LOVE MONEY! And yet I depise it when its not on my side! Oh I am a happy person now! I have the lyrics to all my favorite songs in 42nd Street! "Come on and meet those dancing feet, on the aveanue I'm taking you to, forty second street!" I LOVE IT! Am I the only one who sees the connection here? 42nd Street=Julian Marsh=Nils=Broadway=Money! Only probelm with that is Nils isnt really on Broadway I saw him at the Midland Center of the Arts and since then I am very much in love with a guy I have never met! And compaired to some of the guys I had a crush on.... he's young! He's just now starting college! And he looks, sounds, sings, dances, walks, and ect. like Fred Astaire which makes him all the more cooler! Well, um, yea now I have to figure out how to make breakfast! Oh what fun.
